“Showing pics of how the light is showing up in modifiers, and also pics of light bouncing off V-flat was exceptionally helpful. I have never seen this included in other teaching videos so I wonder if Felix came up with the idea himself, which is genius. It was obvious Felix put thought into what would help people understand.
Personally, I think the reason why the constant light seemed to underperform is because it was being used like flash. I think constant light is best used in addition to the ambient light or in a pitch black studio - then ISO can be increased.”
