Power Portraits Bundle

The complete confidence-first posing toolkit for photographers who want to create portraits with more power, presence, variety, and emotional impact.

This bundle includes Kara Marie’s Power Portraits Guide and Power Poses Posing Cards: two complementary digital resources designed to help you understand the confidence behind powerful portraits and apply it through practical, session-ready posing inspiration.

Stop choosing between knowing what to do and knowing why it works.

A beautiful portrait is not created by posing alone. It is created through confidence, trust, body language, direction, energy, and the photographer’s ability to lead the person in front of the camera.

This bundle gives you both sides of the process: the deeper confidence-building framework and the visual posing reference to bring it into practice during real sessions.

For photographers who want portraits that feel powerful, not just posed.

If your clients freeze, overthink, laugh nervously, apologize, or say they “don’t know what to do,” this bundle helps you move beyond memorized poses and start directing with more clarity, confidence, and intention.

You will learn how to build confidence into the session, understand the energy behind stronger portraits, and use practical posing inspiration to create images that feel more expressive, editorial, personal, and alive.

What’s included

Two complementary resources. One stronger portrait experience.

1. Power Poses Posing Cards
An 83-page digital posing flipbook filled with confident standing and seated portrait inspiration, setup guidance, verbal direction prompts, pose variation notes, and visual examples you can reference before or during sessions.
2. Power Portraits Guide
A 47-page digital guide that explores the confidence-building layer behind powerful portraiture, including client preparation, communication, session energy, body language, posing energy, wardrobe inspiration, and photographer leadership.

The bundle advantage

Learn the philosophy. Then bring it into the shoot.

Build client confidence before the pose
Understand how preparation, communication, and the tone of your session influence how your client shows up on camera.
Direct with more clarity and authority
Strengthen the way you guide clients so sessions feel smoother, more professional, and more intentional.
Use body language more intentionally
Learn how posture, gaze, movement, expression, and energy change the feeling of a portrait.
Access practical posing inspiration
Reference a polished flipbook of standing and seated poses when you need ideas, structure, or fresh creative direction.
Create more variety without starting from scratch
Use the posing cards as a jumping-off point, then adapt the ideas to each client’s body, styling, comfort level, and personality.
Make portraits feel more personal
Move beyond generic posing and create images that feel more confident, expressive, and connected to the person in front of you.

This is not just a posing bundle.

It is a more complete way to think about directing powerful portraits.

The Power Portraits Guide helps you understand the emotional and psychological foundation of confident posing.

The Power Poses Posing Cards give you the practical visual reference to apply that confidence-first approach with more ease, variety, and flow.

Perfect for photographers who want more confident sessions and stronger images.

This bundle is ideal for photographers who want to feel more prepared, direct clients more confidently, and create portraits with more presence, range, and emotional impact.

Use the guide to understand the energy. Use the cards to direct the pose.

Together, these resources help you stop relying on the same few poses and start creating more intentional portraits that are shaped around the client’s confidence, comfort, personality, and presence.

Use them before a shoot to prepare your creative direction, during a session when you need inspiration, or after a session to study how small adjustments in posture, expression, body language, and energy can elevate your work.

About Kara Marie Trombetta

An American photographer based in northern Italy, Kara Marie Trombetta celebrates her 16 year career that encompasses her roles as both a privately-commissioned photographer, and a photography business educator and coach.Where Trombetta’s art is concerned, she favors impactful black and white images as her medium of choice, using natural light and shadow to honor the human form.

Her minimalist, honest, and customer service-centric method of capturing her clients allow seach muse to feel exceptionally comfortable and to see the beauty in their authenticity. With her personal evolution as a catalyst, Kara Marie has come to empower individuals not merely to discover confidence in their skin, but to realize that true confidence is not skin-deep. She regards the absence of clothing on her subjects simply as the removal of distraction, inhibitions, and facades rather than with the objective of creating “sexy”images.

When asked about the classification of her work as “boudoir” photography when it appears to have evolved into something more multi-faceted, Trombetta gently explains:

I work to grant my muses the permission to be fully and naturally themselves without layers to hide behind, without the need for a glamorous makeover or extreme retouching, and also without the pressure to act provocatively. We can be sexy, yes. We are also intelligent, introspective, resilient, strong, funny, powerful, and emotional. I work to help my clients discover and celebrate their confidence. Limiting that expression of confidence to merely sexuality is doing a great disservice to the multitude of characteristics that one is comprised of. This is why I am working to redefine boudoir photography from a style that is traditionally intended to be stereotypically sexual for a very narrowly defined demographic, to an evolved narrative that is more of an artistic expression of the human spirit in its most honest natural form. I encourage a dialogue that emphasizes that everyone is a masterpiece.

As an educator, Kara Marie’s teaching style is approachable for all experience levels and types of photographers. Her photography education has expanded to include coaching entrepreneurs in creativity, customer service, and general life balance. Delivering a multitude of workshops, keynote presentations, and online educational courses throughout her career, she continues her work to embolden her students around the world while nurturing her most artistic chapter yet.
