“He’s telling me exactly what I need to hear. I’m still a new photographer who needs to learn the basics of gear, posing, lighting, etc… and I am OVERWHELMED. I needed to go back to basics and learn about what gear is out there, what it does, why I would want/need it, and how to use what I have. Zack is breaking it all down and keeping me in check so I don’t keep going out and buying “all of the things”. I’ve already spent way too much money on things that I don’t need and/or am not ready for. I’m excited to finish this course with a better understanding of how to use what I already have and get my foundation set so I can start making money as a portrait photographer. This may not be a “sexy” class (if I’m being honest, this “basics” on gear is such a boring subject for me and it is taking everything I have to power through my A.D.H.D. to actually sit and watch these videos), but Zack is making it easier for me to engage in the basics and keep me on track. He’s knowledgeable, experienced, honest, and throws in some humor. I definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants/needs to learn the fundamentals of gear for portrait photography.”

“I wish I had this video when I first started. I had learned a lot of the information shared here by trial and error but to have it all explained in layman's terms and in such a succinct manner makes this video absolutely valuable!”
